The ratio is 5:3
It is asked for oatmeal
Therefore the ratio of the needed object (the oatmeal) is 3
Total ratio is 8 (5+3)
Total number (of cookies) is 40
Therefore,
3/8 ×40 = 15
Therefore the number of oatmeal cookies is 15
