Part A: 3,49m+1,40p+1,24c. Explanation: 1 pound of mangoes-3,49$, 1 pound of papaya-1,40$, 1 pound of coconut-1,24$. So, we just add the variables to coefficients. Part B: we have 3 pounds of mangoes, 4 pounds of papayas and 6 pounds of coconuts. Now let’s plug in those numbers: 3,49(3)+1,40(4)+1,24(6). 10,47+5,6+7,44= 23,51.
