Area of Parrallelogram = Base x Height

A = 14 x 6

A = 84 (units^2)

Area of circle:

Area =

[tex] = \pi \times {r}^{2} [/tex]

[tex] = \pi \times {8}^{2} [/tex]

[tex] = 201.062[/tex]

Both semi-circles make a circle so:

Total Area = Parrallelogram + Circle

Total Area = 84 + 201.1

Total Area = 285.1 units^2
