You have stock soultion of 6.0m HCL.how would dilute it in order to prepare 500ML of 2.0ml HCL

A useful dilution relationship is (M1V1)=(M2V2) where M is molarity and V is volume in liters.
(6.00M x V1) = (2.00M x .500L) (I assume you mean 2.0M)
V1= (2.00M x .500L)/6.00M
V1= 0.167L
