It all depends on your point of view or your opinion. Some philanthropists such as Mother Teresa and Paul Farmer are known for their good works. Today, philanthropy means generosity and is often defined as giving gifts of “time, talent and treasure” to help make life better for other people. So in my own very opinion, I believe that a philanthropist is not ' stingy and greedy'.
